9th-10th century. Viking bead assortment. Vikings loved beads and plundered or traded for them throughout the known world. And, as beads historically had great value, many were centuries old when they were collected by Vikings. This broad array of beads is well documented on Scandinavian museums and archaeology sites. See Text and Trowel for related samples found in Denmark.
AD 900-1050. Iconic form C. 900-1050 AD. Rounded face band, 4.0 mm at the base, flaring to the shoulders and supporting a raised domed oval bezel. Surface textured from burial with the 24 karat gold restored.
AD 900-1100. Viking-age flint striker/fire starter. This specimen accords specifically with Typology of Fire Starters from the Viking Age Norway (http://sagy.vikingove.cz/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Norwegian-fire-strikers.pdf) first example, which the author states "The most common type of Norwegian fire strikers, identified as Rygh 426, "almost one-third of all finds comes from the 10th century".
AD 850-1000. Well forged, tanged arrowhead. 4.03” in length, triangular form point, near flat both sides. Elegantly cusped bottom and thickened foot base to seat in the shaft and tapered tang. Such arrowheads were commonly used on raids.
